iClear Sketch Case From Griffin Clear stylish protection for iPod nano
I have been using my Otterbox Defender case to protect the iPod nano 8 GB. It is three layers of protection and shields everything from harm. It is a little bulky but really does the job. When I had a chance to test the iClear Sketch from Griffin I thought “Why not?”.
The iClear Sketch is made of polycarbonate and almost completely transparent. The design on the case is light so you have no problem seeing the color of the iPod. It is easy to snap together and can be opened by inserting a coin in the bottom right hand corner of the case. The cost is $24.99 in either 8-bit or Baroque patterns.
Unfortunately, as with the Otterbox Defender, the case must be removed if you are using the iTrip nano FM. You might want to check your other accessories that connect to the base of the iPod nano before you buy.
The iClear Sketch does not protect the nano as completely as the Defender but that has its good side as you have a better tactile feel of controls. If you are not a dropper this is the case for you. It is solid but allows access to the screen, ports and controls. You know if you need more protection. Buy accordingly.
