November 2011 My New Mac Lion Edition
With a total of 478 pages (Including the 12 page index) this is the thickest How to Book about a computer that I have seen in years. Rather than being a super technical book this one helps new Mac owners as well as Mac forever users so they can more easily interface with the new Lion operating system. The subtitle of the book is “Simple Projects to Get You Started” That is very true. I found it more interesting and informative than a manual as it helped with tasks rather than technical functions. IdeaPad Tablet K1 by Lenovo
I have tested a number of Tablets. Many are so much alike it is hard to find any major points that make one better than the other. Several have been pretty good. The Lenovo IdeaPad K1 Tablet is a good move in the right direction. Granted it is heavier than many tablets at 1.65 pounds. However I like the heft and solid feel of this product. The bright RED back cover does a great deal to differentiate the look of this tablet from many others. The $499 price point seemed to be priced in the middle of the pack when writing this article. I think you will see some downward adjustments in many Tablet prices during the next few months. If you don’t need one now you might want to wait until Christmas or even later. |
