Samsung Galaxy Tab for T-mobile
I like it! I know that is a bad way to start a review but I did it. With a size of 4.74 x 7.48 x 0.47 inches and weighing in at 13.40 ounces the Samsung Galaxy Tab is smaller than many Tablets but it does the job well. Since a SIM was not included in my package I will not be testing Cell phone services from T-Mobile. There was also no MicroSD card in the unit so I added one. With the Android operating system I was comfortable from the first boot.
Approximate cost for the Samsung Galaxy Tab is from $349 to $475 at Amazon. With so many Tablets now on the market here are many options so shop around be for you buy.

Camera Tests The Galaxy Tab is a little big for camera use. It takes a while to get used to holding it steady. There are plenty of photographic options available on board. It is great to use the front facing camera for Video chats with family. Especially Grand Kids.
Email Email setup and use is simple. I set up for yahoo and AT&T accounts. It is just as easy to add Gmail, or others. If you need to install sometimes technical email accounts you may need to go to someone at your office or your service provider. When writing this I added my Gmail account in 3 minutes. I love the large text sizes. It is a real difference reading messages and other text on a Tablet as opposed to a SmartPhone sized screen. Currently I am testing emails on iPhone4, The Samsung Galaxy Tab, the Samsung Focus Windows 7 phone, and the LG Revolution. All of these are receiving copies of emails from 3 or more different email addresses. I feel like a train conductor.
Music, eBooks, and audible books Music from my Desktop downloaded and played well. I also had no problem with eBooks or Audio books. When I added a headset for music or connected the Galaxy Tab to the Stereo system in our car it was filled with very good and understandable sound.
I must admit that I have very little experience with Tablets at this point. I do plan on correcting that after testing the Samsung Galaxy Tab. I love working with SmartPhones they can do most tasks and do them well. However SmartPhones are limited by smaller screens. Tablets take care of that problem. My biggest issue I have with Tablets is they do not fit easily in my pocket. I guess I will have to be more flexible in the future.
